Marion's tennis teams enjoyed a prosperous Tuesday trip to Paragould for a league match. The Patriot boys and girls teams each won their overall matches, and the Marion girls dropped just one match in the afternoon, finishing 6-1. The boys went 5-2. “Lil' Jac,” or Marion's girls doubles duo of Lily Holloway and Jaclyn Burch, won their first match of the fall at Paragould, while Kaden Foret and Scarlett Knowlton also notched a doubles victory. Aubrie Weaver and Akeylah Lathon recorded a pair of singles wins apiece at Paragould. On the boys' side, Elijah White and Coby Hayes continued their strong fall schedule, each winning twice in singles, and teaming up for a doubles win against the Rams. Marion hosts Batesville in a conference match on Tuesday, September 5 beginning at 4 p.m.
