It's not Thanksgiving, in fact, school has only been in session for a few weeks. Regardless of the calendar, Gobble Nation is taking over Marion's tennis courts. Chloe Griggs and Alayla Peoples, the duo who comprises Marion's Gobble Nation, pulled off a dramatic victory last week against Nettleton to help Marion claim an overall victory over their league foes. In addition to Griggs and Peoples, Kaden Foret and Scarlett Knowlton also won in girls doubles, while Akeylah Lathon and Aubrie Weaver earned victories in girls singles. Marion junior Eli White won eight of 12 games in boys singles action. Marion tennis is back in action on Thursday, August 17 at home for a conference match against Searcy. It will begin at 4 p.m.
