Marion's doubles tennis tandem of Kelly Pedersen and Kora Wilson finished third Tuesday morning in the girls Class 5A state tennis tournament in Hot Springs. The all-state performers kicked off their run at the tournament Monday by topping Lily Jessen and Emma Young of Benton (7-6 and 6-0) in the first round. Wilson and Pedersen advanced to the semifinals by knocking off Tennison Reichard and Erika Jones of Van Buren 7-6 and 6-2 in the quarterfinals. Hot Springs Lakeside's duo of Elizabeth Cowen and Lauren Lathem downed Marion in the semifinals, but Wilson and Pedersen rallied to beat West Memphis' Samantha Holt and Taylor Brossett (8-3) in the third-place match Tuesday afternoon.
