The Marion Patriots will be well represented this fall at their state golf tournaments. Marion's girls team finished third in Wednesday's conference meet at Paragould. Senior Kelly Pedersen carded the third-best score (84) among all girls and earned all-league honors. The girls team will compete at the state tournament next week at Lake Hamilton. Jack Carter and Payne Bius qualified for the boys tournament as individual players, each carding an 87. Carter and Bius compete in the state tournament in two weeks at El Dorado.
