Marion’s boys and girls tennis teams impressed last Thursday against conference opponent West Memphis. Jay Nichols (8-3) and Elijah White (8-1) each won singles matches before playing doubles. Nichols and Ubay Esmail won a doubles match (8-4) while White teamed with David Murray for an 8-4 conquest. Marion’s girls got strong performances from Margaret Crain and Harris Hale, who each went 2-0 against West Memphis. Marion’s doubles tandem of Kelly Pedersen and Kora Wilson split a pair of matches.
